These Are My JOTtings...

The Color is in the Bottle

The pretty bottles on the sill
are filled with brightish hues
There is not aught but air to fill
for naught but beauty use.

"Is this a waste of space?" we ask.
The glass of jars for art.
Creation is the greatest task.
Bright colors are the start.

The nights they hush and mute the tones,
but morn begins the dance
of Light which makes the jars new thrones,
cathedrals at a glance.
