The Vanishing Glass

An Acrostic Flash Fiction

'Make it move', said one sparrow to the other.

'Ah, but that cat seems ready to pounce', was the reply.

Kitty Cat just smiled thought the window.

'Empty talk with no action', the first bird teased.

'I'm not afraid', the other bird bragged.

'Talk, talk, talk', the first laughed.

'Meow', the still cat coaxed.

Onward, the brave bird flew...Right into the glass with a very loud SMACK!

Vivid images of stars floated above his head, as he fell to the ground.

Eyeing the glass through a bright sunny glare, the first bird watched it vanish, then appear, then vanish again! 'Ooops', he tweeted.
