Prompt: "Living is like touring a museum. Not until later do you really start absorbing what you saw, thinking about it, looking it up in a book and remembering because you can't take it all in at once." Audrey Hepburn Write anything you want about this.

I agree. I take pictures of the places I go to and I am Scrapbook Designer, so it gives me an excuse to scrapbook. It is hard to absorb everything. Like watching movies. I can watch a movie again and realize I missed that. Like going to the Christmas Store in Frankenmuth, Michigan. I love that store and try to see everything and not miss anything. We can't remember everything. Looking at pictures, triggers your memory and I like that. I love looking up things o the internet of places to visit and make a note to see those things when I get there. I love seeing sites and things on a documentary of places I have been, too and remembering, I saw that. It makes me happy. Too bad our memories can't hold as much space as our computers. Remember what you can and the camera can be your best friend at this time. I agree with Audrey. We absorb things later after thinking about it. I haven't been to a museum in years but I buy post cards of every where I go. Pictures help keep the memories alive.

A gift from a member. Audrey Hepburn and her pet deer.
