Father's Day

Father's Day is quite a gem
of honored fam'ly joy.
Blessing Dad with gifts to him
does much to grace employ.

But Father's Day is ev'ry day
throughout the life of home.
With love to share and time to play,
how can the heart e'er roam.

So, thank you, Dad, for being you
and paving life's highway.
I'll do my best my whole life through
my actions all to weigh.

You lived a life the way to show.
I follow now that path
To be example that will grow
for those who do the math.

When life is o'er I hope the world
will mark this father's Day
a flag that flies in Hope unfurled
with Truth that's on display.
