Apro"prose"
To write a bit of poetry
is easy for my skill.
With lilting words to you from me
I love to cast at will.

But prose gives challenge to my brain
to write unrhyming words.
It seems a little cloud of rain
comes o'er me like some birds.

Just how do famous novelists
create each wordy tome?
Is there a way to give the gists
which help my mind not roam?

"O, wad the giftie" relevance
to write in lines of thought
To give the loving heart's romance
new story I have brought.

If one day dear Ms. Carol's pleased,
then joy will lasting be,
But 'til then daily hope be seized
when Dave and Monty see.

"Four Yeses" are not always 'pplied
to poetry I write,
But rhyming rhythm words abide
with me each day and night.

Sometimes it's more a ditty writ
than pro-sed thought, I trow,
But one more daily blog I get
as words abound, I know.
