Or an eye of lust
An eye ever so peaceful
Or one of mistrust?

What dangers apply
To the wayward girl
When catching the eye
Of a man about the world

He lies so sweetly
And takes so freely
And catches her heart so deeply
A taudry affair so steamy

All is lost but a memory
A dagger in his heart
As forgiveness for his thievery
Free now a love torn apart
