A Provacative PC Day , Maybe.

A man said to the Walmart cashier, "You've got the
Christmas tree displays up already."
The cashier replied, "I'm not looking forward to
Black Friday."
I said, "He was born in June."
That stopped the chit-chat.

I continued to shopping and met the assistant
manager, a very nice man.
I remarked that he looked like the clown Captain Spalding
from a Rob Zombie movie.
The assistant manager said "He gets that a lot."
and laughed, "You've made my day!"

No harm or offense taken and I continued to shop.
In electronics I met a young couple kissing.
It seems odd me to french kiss in Walmart.
At the register they were talking about
National Indigenous People Day in New Hampshire.
I queried, "What's that?"

They said that was the new name for Columbus Day.

I said, "Columbus discovered America."
I thought, Columbus Day was a good enough name.
They did not like my statement...
The Christmas shoppers were getting fidgety.
They had a 5 foot silver Christmas tree in their cart.
I remarked, "I don't see the point in Christmas."

"It's too commercial." I added and scanned my bottled water.

Reflections~ Is eternal life boring?
