The Crossing

Death was so easy,

no dark river to cross.

Ministering angels were waiting

to convoy me to Paradise.

And what a delight to meet my guardian angel.

He watched over me in my 'earth life'

and has not abandoned me now.

Suddenly, I realize I left my body behind,

with its weaknesses,

sufferings and limitations.

Instead, I have a 'soulish body'

fitted for the spiritual realm

in which it will dwell.

Awesome, I am being transported swiftly upward

through the ethereal space.

Moving toward a beautiful place whose

radiance is brighter than the sun.

As we approach it, groups of angels

come out to escort us home.

I feel that I am near Jesus,

though I do not actually see Him.

My guardian angel informed my loved ones

of my coming, they will be waiting.

And to meet all of the saints who

preceded me to glory goes beyond words.
