Why is Roy a Mousekateer?

Every time I hear about the Alabama happy hands candidate Roy,
I harken back to Roy of the Mouseketeers.
The show opened with Annette Funicello and other Mouseketeers
introducing themselves.. Roy was the last introduction and
he was an adult, who looked like Danny DeVito.

I was a child and asked my mom why Roy was in the Mouseketeers's
clubhouse.
She said he was a "chaperon" ...
"Why do kids need Roy to chaperon them in their club house?"
I queried.
Mom's answer gave me a chuckle, "Well, all those boys might get fresh
with Annette."

So, Roy, who looked like a nut job, spent his day hanging around teenagers
to chaperon Annette Funicello and give advice ..
That sounded sketchy.
A Republican Judge, Roy, was banned from the malls in Alabama,
because he liked to hang around the teenage girls there...

I think Roy should stay out of the Senate clubhouse ..
He might be tempted by the interns, but the ladies are in their twenties.
