Kill the Poor?

I am a peasant ..
My dad was educated by the Jesuits.
My dad graduated from Boston College ..
I graduated from U-Mass Boston. .

We had differing views ..
I think he wanted to stay in the 1950's.
I enjoy pop culture.
He died in 2001...

My dad's opinion of welfare was harsh.
He believed in self-reliance.
"Men make the world." he said;
"A man provides for his family."

He said, "Entitlement is earned."
I believe in charity for the poor.
Dad believed the poor would be killed.
Yup. Society would dump them.

"The welfare crowd are living on borrowed time."
dad said..
I hope he was wrong.
But, there are a lot of people without healthcare.
And the President isn't sympathetic to the needs of the poor.

Where is the money going?


2018 frightens me.
