Weather and Moods
Prompt: Lyn asked if the weather changed our moods. Like in winter, do we get in a dark mood?

Yes. I get winter depression. I am retired now but the winter weather will put me in a bad mood. I had a sinus infection all month and I loved Christmas but after Christmas, I feel down. We have had snow and I wasn't able to go anywhere for a week except with my husband. I don't drive in snow. I get down, thinking I will have a sinus infection forever and won't be able to go anywhere. When I worked in mental health, the people I took care of, were worse in the winter.

In the winter, where you get snow and cold, you think you are trapped at home and the world passes you by. This is how I feel. I finally got to go to Barnes and Nobles, Bible Study and had lunch with friends yesterday. I am in a better frame of mind. Now, we have ice, snow and the wind is blowing. We are going to WalMart tonight and I am trying to stay positive.
