wind-surfing coolness,
tubular
soft and sometimes loud

music from cacophony
sweet and salty
mesmerizing notes

sometimes no breeze for many days
waiting on parade
silent hangs for new command

garbled voice, but something to say
through dancing joy in trees
muttering organ of the air

metal seems so cold,
but cold wind warms its tongue

books have covers
chimes have stains
inside speaks to world
