Hidden Blessings
Hidden Blessings

Too often, what we love is lost.
Unrecognized, it just gets tossed,
put off until that bridge is crossed
but at what cost? But, at what cost?

We overlook before our eyes
the blessings we have in disguise.
Ignorance is our demise.
We tell our lies. We tell our lies.

Somewhere inside we hear a voice
that tells us each we have a choice
to pay the overdue invoice.
Let us rejoice. Let us rejoice.

Let us each overcome the pride
that removes us, bridge the divide
and claim the love we’ve set aside.
We cannot hide. We cannot hide.

To give from one’s heart addressing
hidden doubts. There is no guessing.
Share with loved ones by professing
they’re daily blessings. They’re daily blessings.
