April 13 Day Thirteen

Day Thirteen

April's
thirty day
search for my muse
to make a daily offering
by placing pen on paper
and write
of familiar places,
intriguing faces,
in simple
phrases,
to invoke
a reader's response
whether noted or not,
sometimes draws a blank.
This is all I have
to give
today.
