Tell the Truth
Speak your words as honest, true,
if you would bless my heart.
For when I feel betrayed by you
our friendship may depart.

There is no hurt with friendships here
upon the internet
but in my town the hurt is clear.
Director made me fret.

Two months ago I questioned him
about the shows to come,
"Just wait until we preview them,
then discuss the sum."

The Preview Night this very day
has left me feeling low
because auditions for the first
were held last weekend, "Nooooooo!"

"We advertised the auditions, Friend,
on website and Facebook."
But I did not their website 'tend,
off Facebook name I took.

Apparently, assumptions rule
the social realm today.
For social websites are the tool
for interaction's fray.

My friends need know that I'm informed
by word of mouth. It's true.
So, talk to me. Be not alarmed,
if I've no word for you.

The quickest way to get in touch
with this one man you know
is text or mouth or Writing.Com.
Response is quick, I trow.
