Emotional Needs and Habits
Prompt: Joy asked if writers and artists are aware of their emotional needs and habits?

I think this applies to everyone. We have emotional need from the day we are born and develop habits. The older I get, the more emotional I get. I wish I could be like I don't care but that is no way to be. As long as they are good habits, no problem. Writers probably have more emotional needs because they let their writing influence them , especially fictional writers and they get caught up in the moment. At least I do. We have eating habits, hygiene, taking care of our pets, grocery shopping, house cleaning and things we have to do in our lives. If not, we would be a slob, you and your pets would starve, your house would be dirty and so on. Most habits are good. Emotional needs. We need them.
