A quiet place to spend some time,
to sit and listen. How sublime!
This wondrous place I'd love to be
is waiting. Epworth-by-the-Sea,
filled with the Spirit, mild of clime.

Saint Simons Island, off or prime,
the season's always just in time
for me this heart to joyous free
A quiet place.

The palm fronds always wave and chime.
The pluff mud tweaks the nose with slime.
My peaceful heart repeats its plea,
"My life is Epworth-by-the-Sea."
The Holy Spirit restores to me
A quiet place.
