September the Twenty-Eighth, twenty eighteen

It has been a very bad day for me. I got fired from the job I have barely had for a week. So, you can see why I haven’t felt like doing any writing today. That includes this Blog entry. In fact, I even thought about not doing it. That’s how bad I feel. So, why am I doing it? The answer to that question is, for two reasons. One, I promised myself I would do it no matter how bad it got for me. Reason number two is because of The Daily One Scene Contest.

I know that it’s a waste of time to do my daily contest since no one even looks at them, let alone enters it, but as the host of this contest, it’s my responsibility to do them each day whether I want to do them or not. Which I don’t. I’m getting very frustrated with this contest. It’s not much better for The Monthly Script Writing Contest either. The only difference between the two is that with the monthly one there are still a few more days to enter it. I know that isn’t going to happen, but there is still a chance with that one. There isn’t any for my daily one.

As for my WDC Short Story for this month, as I wrote above I didn’t work on it today. Which isn’t exactly true. I worked on it before I went to sleep. So, technically I did work on it some today after all. Of course, I had to turn off my TV to do it, but I did get almost two-thirds of it done. I only have four more unofficial parts to do with it. That shouldn’t be a problem for me to do tomorrow since it’s the weekend and I’m not working. Don’t know if I will be able to do all four tomorrow, but I should be able to do at least two of them, hopefully, three. I should be able to do all four, but I don’t know if I can do all of them or not.
