Another Miracle has Happened

I found out last night that I can bring my laptop to work with me and work on my writing. True, I still can’t post it until I get home or that I need to write it about an hour earlier that I used to do it. That doesn’t bother me that much, though. What I was worried about is that I wouldn’t be able to write at work. That would have limited me a lot. Especially when it comes to contest entries, my contest, and my novels that I’m working on this month and next.

What have I gotten done today? I have gotten a lot done. Of course, I have lost a lot of sleep because of it too. It’s not because of work, my work situation, or my not being able to write at work. It is because of today’s October NaNoWriMo Prep Challenge. Normally, you can do most of the challenges in about fifteen to thirty minutes. Today it took me about three hours each to do them, and I had to do them before I went to sleep because I only have a couple of hours before I had to go to work.

I didn’t know if I could post them on WDC from work or not. Unfortunately, I was right because I can’t get online at work. At least I can’t with my laptop. True, I can with my phone, but I can’t copy and paste from there. It is also hard to do WDC formatting from the phone. In fact, it’s impossible for me to do it. It’s not just WDC part of it either. I’ve done that enough that I know how to do that before I copy and paste them. No, my main problem is that the only way I can do it is if I use the Cloud to do it, and I don’t use the Cloud. They say that it’s safe from anyone getting to it, but I don’t trust it. Especially, with my writing. Except for WDC I’m very protective of my writing.

Once I got to work I got a lot of writing done too. Not only did I get both my Protagonist short stories done today, but I also started working on my Newsletter this month. It’s going to be a few days later that it should be, but with everything that happened in my life the last few weeks I almost forgot to do it at all. Luckily, I remembered before it was a total disaster.
