Cold
As the cold air arrives
The ache in my bones comes to life
a gnawing pain at the base of my back
makes me want to crawl back in the sack
my joints seem to creak and groan
as I stretch with a cold morning moan
my knees pop and crackle
as I holler like a jackal
my fingers open in slow motion
until I find the magic potion
Java, Java, Java
just needing my morning coffea
