Not Too Good Today Either

Don’t ask me why I haven’t gotten too much writing done today because I don’t know why. I got plenty of sleep last night. So, I don’t think that’s the reason. Then what is the reason? I have been thinking about that a lot the last couple of hours. Still haven’t come up with one yet. Haven’t even thought of any possible reason it might be, and that’s unusual for me. I usually have a million possible reasons for something I have done or think I have done, or haven’t done.

Maybe it’s because I didn’t get the last few lines for part one of my Introduction Chapter for my Wandita novel done before I went to sleep last night as I promised myself I would do. Can’t explain this either because I got a lot of sleep the night before, but I felt tired right after I finished writing my Blog entry yesterday. Yes, I did try to finish it, and I did get a little bit more done on it, but I didn’t finish it like I said I was going to do.

The first thing I did when I woke up today was to finish part one, but that took me a little longer than I thought that it was going to take. Maybe that’s part of the reason why I haven’t gotten too much writing done today. After I finished the first part, I started on part two. I didn’t think I was going to have too much trouble with it. After all, I copied the original to the new one. All I needed to do was update it to Times New Roman. Which I did do. That’s when I found out I only had about twenty-eight more line to do. I figured that wouldn’t take me too long to do. It did.

I didn’t get it done until just before I started writing this Blog entry today. I’m not sure why it took me so long to do it. Maybe it’s because about half, if not a lot more, of it, is dialogue. I could add some to the dialogue, but not much. Not enough for it to do much difference line-wise. It did help a little bit, though. Most of my problem was with the non-dialogue paragraphs, but I did get them done too. It just took me a lot longer than I thought it would do it.

What about tomorrow, I mean today? I’m going to try to do the other three parts for my Wandita Introduction Chapter. I don’t know if I will be able to do them in one day, but I’m going to try to do all three of them. After what happened today, I’m very doubtful I will be able to do it, but I won’t if I don’t try. Whether I do, or I don’t I am going to get as much as I can do before I return to work on Wednesday. If I need to, I will work on it on Wednesday too. I should be able to finish it by then depending on what happens at work.
