December the fourth – Nothing Written Today
Nothing Written Today

Except for this Blog entry and the genre Prompt for the Daily One Scene Contest, I haven’t done any writing today. Why has that happened again? There are three reasons why I haven’t written anything today. One of them is the lack of sleep I’ve gotten over the last couple of days. Another one is that it’s Monday, aka my first day off work. The third one is because I just didn’t feel like it. Have any of you had days like that? I have had a lot of them.

True, I did get caught up on my sleeping a little bit last night, but it didn’t seem to be quite enough. Even after I got up yesterday, I tried to get some more sleep. Yes, I got a little bit more, but it still wasn’t enough. I have felt tired all day yesterday. Even nodded off a few times. Unfortunately, I didn’t get any more sleep.

It has been a typical Monday. I have had a lot of things to do today. Which isn’t all that unusual for me on my first day off from work. True, there have been a few weeks where I did it on Tuesday, aka my second day off, but it has only happened two or three times. Usually, it’s Monday.

I don’t feel sick or that I’m about to get sick. So, I don’t know why I didn’t feel like writing yesterday. Just didn’t feel like doing it. Will I write today? I probably will. Usually, when I don’t write it’s only for one day. That doesn’t mean it won’t happen today too. It’s very unlikely that it will.

It’s true, I haven’t written anything yesterday. That doesn’t mean I have thought a lot about it. About the only time, I don’t think about my writing is when I’m asleep and even then, I might have a dream related to my writing or something that I want to write about. It doesn’t happen too often, but it does happen.

What have I been thinking about yesterday? Of course, I have been thinking about my WDC Short Story. That isn’t all that I have been thinking about, though. I have also been thinking about my scriptwriting project. Thinking a lot about them. In fact, I think I’m going to start working on them this week at work after all.

True, I want to get the WDC Short Story finished as soon as possible, but I do still have almost a month to do it. The sooner I get it done the better. Especially, if I want any possible reviews before I enter the contest. I’m still not sure if I’m going to do that, though. I Probably will if I get the chance to do it. It all depends on how soon I get it done.
