My Treasure Finder Project

Yes, I know that this Blog entry is a lot later than it usually is. Most of the time I do these Blogs just before I go to sleep. It’s around two to four AM that I normally write these Blogs. The only reason I haven’t done it yet is because I was so sleepy, I couldn’t do it.

Don’t know why I’m feeling like that. I’m not sick or feeling like I’m going to be getting sick. True, I haven’t gotten a lot of sleep the last few days, but I have gotten enough. It’s been between five to seven hours a night, mostly five. That should have been enough for me to not be so sleepy last night.

As for my Treasure Finder project, there is some good news with that. There’s also some bad news too. The Good news is that not only did I get my movie Outline done for it, but I also got the first episode done too. Unfortunately, the bad news is that it was a waste of time.

Why do I say that? It’s because I have changed my mind again. Not in the stories themselves, but in the way that I want to handle them. What do I mean by that? It means I still have stories to tell. I’m just going to tell them a little bit differently now. Especially, the movie Outline and Treatment.

That’s right, I’m going to start over again on both my Treatments and my Outlines. Well, I’m not exactly starting over.
The main stories are basically the same. It’s the secondary ones I’m going to be changing mostly. That doesn’t mean I’m not going to change the main stories too. I just won’t do them as much.

What does that mean? One of the reasons why I’m doing them over again is because I didn’t like the way I was writing the Outlines. I have a very bad habit of telling my stories instead of showing them. That’s what wrong with these Outlines. At least I think that’s the reason.

My Outlines aren’t my only problem, though. While writing my Outlines I made some changes to the Treatments too. That isn’t the only reason why I’m also redoing my Treatments. The main problem I have been having is because of the move Treatment. There’s only a slight problem with the episode ones.

The problem with the movie Treatment secondary stories is that there are two characters for each one, and even though they will both be in every scene it will only focus on one of them. What I need to change is who does what scene for each Act so that they all have the same scenes and Acts.

I know that is confusing. It’s a little bit confusing to me too, and I’m the one doing it. Once I write my Treatment paragraphs it will make a lot more sense. At least I hope that it will. It probably will a lot more to me than you, but some of you might understand it better too.
