It’s Not All My Fault This Time
It’s Not All My Fault This Time

Unfortunately, I didn’t get too much of my Taking Back What is Ours project. Only it’s not my fault this time. The usual reason why I didn’t is that I didn’t feel like it, or because parts of it got too intense. That didn’t happen yesterday. I only got about a third of my Movie Treatment one-sentence scenes don yesterday.

There are two reasons why I didn’t get more of it done. They both have the same thing in common. It’s work. One reason is that it was very busy at work yesterday. It wasn’t a typical Wednesday. It wasn’t too bad. But it was a little bit busier than it usually is. Maybe it’s because it’s the first of the year. Maybe it’s like this every year. This is my first January at this post. So, I don’t know what is normal and what isn’t. Maybe it’s because it’s winter. Who knows what the reason is. Who cares what they are. All I care about is how busy it was yesterday.

The second reason I didn’t get more written yesterday is that for a couple of hours I had someone working with me. I have always worked alone. But yesterday I wasn’t. I could still watch my television shows on my phone. But I could do any writing. Well, that isn’t exactly true. I probably could have if I had wanted to do it. But I didn’t. I don’t like individuals looking over my shoulders while I’m writing.

It makes me nervous and when I get nervous, I can’t concentrate. That lack of concentration makes me make mistakes. I don’t like doing that. Especially, if I don’t catch them right away or ever. I am very overprotective when it comes to my writing. Especially in the planning stages.

It’s okay if you here on WDC read what I have written. That’s because I know you won’t steal it. But I’m afraid that it will be by someone outside of WDC. I know that I am just being paranoid. But that’s just the way that I feel. I have been like that ever since I started writing back in the Stone Age.

So, what will I do today? I’m going to continue working on this project. I’m going to try to finish the one-sentence scene sentences. I should be able to do that. Unless work gets in the way again. I’m not talking about how busy it is. Thursdays are usually very slow. I’m talking about me being able to write. What do I mean by that? I mean that my roommate is supposed to be back today too. I’m not sure for how long. But he did say that he would be back today too.
