Concentration or the Lack of It

Don’t ask me why because I don’t have an answer to it. I don’t know why I couldn’t concentrate at work yesterday. I’m not feeling tired. I got plenty of sleep the last night. I can’t blame it on work either. So why couldn’t I do more than a couple of Acts on my episode two first scriptwriting project?

Work can’t be the reason because it wasn’t that busy at work yesterday. In fact, it was a lot less busy than it usually is on Saturdays. It’s usually very slow on Saturdays. But it was even slower than usual yesterday. The first couple of hours was about halfway normal and the last two was kind of busy. But in between, it was almost dead. It was that slow.

I would also like to blame it on the weather. But I can’t do that either. The ground looked wet. But there was no rain of any kind. It was also very gloomy too. That isn’t the reason why either. At least I don’t think that it is. I’m running out of possibilities as to why it was so slow at work yesterday.

I am running out of reasons. In fact, I can’t think of any more reasons right now. Wait for a second, I think I have come up with maybe another reason why I didn’t get more done yesterday. I have been thinking about my monthly WDC story plus a couple of others. Maybe that’s part of the reason for my lack of concentration. I don’t think that’s all of it. But it may be part of it.

I don’t think that’s the answer to my question either. Yes, I may have been practically distracted because of WDC. But not that much of it. If any of it was a distraction. I just thought of another possibility. Maybe it was because of watching some television and movies on my cell phone. I did watch a couple of movies and a week of General Hospital on my cell phone. I don’t think the Daytime Drama was the reasons for my lack of concentration. But it may be.

Suddenly, I feel kind of tired while I’m working on this Blog entry. I’m yawning a lot and I’m having trouble keeping my eyes open. It may be the gloomy weather, or it may be the reason for my concentration problem. I just didn’t notice it was I was watching my cell phone up until I started this Blog.

Whatever the reason, I didn’t get too much writing done yesterday. So, what am I going to do today? When I get home from work, I’m going to try to at least finish the second episode Outline. I doubt that I will be able to do that the way I’m feeling. But I am going to try to do it. If I don’t do it before I go to sleep, I will finish it up at work.

Then again, I might not. I doubt very much that I will get the third episode today too. So, maybe I will take a few days off my scriptwriting to work on some of my other things on WDC. There is the WDC Short Story I need to do plus a couple of other things I would like to get started on too.
