Not working on My Secret Project Monday, But I might today

Yesterday was a great day for my writing. At least it was for my WDC Short Story. I might not have done any work on my secret project yesterday. But I may be able to work on it a little bit today. Why will I be able to do that? It’s because I finished my WDC Short Story yesterday.

At first, I was afraid that I wouldn’t be getting too much if any of my writing on my Short Story because it was a typical Monday day off. I had a lot that needed to be done before I could start my writing. In fact, we had so much to do that I didn’t get to my writing until late middle afternoon.

It’s not just how long it took to get things done that hurt me with my writing, though. At first, when I started my writing it was slow going. I still didn’t think that I would get too much done after all. But then suddenly it started picking up. Then I was out of control. I couldn’t stop myself from writing until I finished it.

I still need to do my Grammarly check. That usually brings up a few errors I have missed with it. It usually does. But for some reason, it doesn’t catch all of them. That’s why I like to get these done earlier in the month. So, that I can get the one or two reviews I get for them. At least one of them points out the errors that Grammarly doesn’t catch.

Since it’s so late in the month, I’m not sure if I’m going to be seeking out reviews this month. But I do have just over a week to enter it. So, I could still get a review or two. I haven’t decided if I’m going to do that or not. But I probably will. Why not? It’s not going to hurt anything if I do it.

After my Grammarly check, I still need to get my WDC Short Story ready for posting. That is when I will decide if I want to seek reviews or not. The most import thing is to get it posted so that I can enter the contest this month. After I do that, I’ll decide what I’m going to do next with it.

How long that will take I don’t know. That’s why I’m saying I don’t know if I’m going to be working on my secret project. It’s not if I will do it. It’s how long I will have to work on it. I should be able to work on it. I’m just not sure how much I’m going to get done with it. Whatever I do and don’t get done today I will continue working on it tomorrow at work.
