Celebrating Authors
The first month is almost over. The fifth assignment has been revealed. I must choose an author from the early to mid-1900s and write about them. This will be a short assignment...between 300-700 words. I'm leaning toward picking John Steinbeck because I've read several of his books and he's one of my favorites. However, I did consider going with Ernest Hemingway because he used to visit my town a lot and shop at the hardware store that used to be here. But, I have only read one of his books and it was the most boring thing I've ever forced myself to suffer through, so maybe not.
My family is taking a short vacation this week, so I'm going to try to have this done before I leave. Wish me luck!
