Quill finalist
You know how they say just being nominated is enough. Well I have to say that it is, because just having someone notice your work is an exhilarating thrill. But then, life goes about its business and you place any thoughts about further recognition far from your mind. But then whammo, you are named as a finalist for a 2018 Quill Award. You glance at the list of writers that are also finalists and you become giddy with excitement. These are writers that you have admired and have hoped to garner enough talent to write like they do every day. I have goosebumps people, just for being grouped with such talented individuals. So yes, it is enough to be nominated but it is incredibly flattering to be a finalist with authors of this ilk I shall call today a very blessed day..
