A Great Yesterday for My Movie Treatment
A Great Yesterday for My Movie Treatment

It was a great day yesterday for the movie Treatment for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. At least I think that it was. True, I only got fifteen scene paragraphs done. Plus, about ten Establishing Shot scenes done. But that is a lot considering I thought that I would be lucky if I only got five done plus a few Establishing Shots. I am very happy I was wrong about that.

It’s true that it was a Saturday. And we aren’t usually too busy at work. Which is true for this Saturday. In fact, it wasn’t as busy as it has been the last several Saturdays. But I don’t think that’s the reason why I did so many scene paragraphs and Establishing Shots yesterday. I think it’s because of the flow. Once I got started, I couldn’t stop myself.

I probably could have done at least five more scene paragraphs. After all, I had about two hours left in my shift. But I couldn’t because I ran out of the lead for my pencils. It looks like I’m going to have to start taking my pencil sharpener to work with me too. either that or I’m going to have to sharpen several more pencils each day. I haven’t decided what I’m going to do yet.

Speaking of decisions, I have decided that I am going to post my Outlines to WDC instead of waiting for the Treatments, The Bible, or the scripts. I’m just not sure how soon I’m going to do it. I haven’t even started transferring them from paper onto my laptop yet. That’s not my only problem, though. Still, haven’t finished my WDC Short Story for this month.

I’m going to be working on my WDC Short Story during my days off Monday and Tuesday. And I am going to get it done even if I need to stay up all night to do it. I don’t want to go another month barely getting it into the contest. Not because there is no time to plug it or get it reviewed, but because I don’t like waiting for the last second to do it.

What am I going to do today at work besides work? I’m going to continue working on my movie Treatment. I am hoping to get another twenty-five to thirty more scene paragraphs done. And I think that I have a very good chance of doing that with it being a Sunday. If it’s anything like yesterday, I should be able to do it. But only time will tell if I can do it or not.

I think that I have a very good chance of doing at least twenty-five scene paragraphs. I may even have another Establishing Shot to do. Why so many? Because it’s a Sunday. During the week I don’t think I will get that many done. If I’m lucky, I will be able to do ten to fifteen. That doesn’t include any Establishing Shots. I may have a few of them too.
