Work and Home are the Same When It Comes to My Writing

Unfortunately, it’s true. I haven’t gotten too much writing done yesterday or today so far. Only this time I know what that reason is for not doing it as much as I wanted to do it. At least I do when it comes to my work. Usually, the reason why I don’t get too much writing done is because of work. But I can’t blame it on that this time. Because yesterday was a holiday, it wasn’t very busy at work at all. In fact, they treated it like a Saturday or a Sunday.

No, it’s all my fault that I only got five scene paragraphs written yesterday at work. I couldn’t concentrate. I’m not sure why I couldn’t do it because I wanted to work. Had my paper and pencils ready to do it. But I just didn’t do too much of it. Maybe the gloomy bad weather had something to do with it. That’s not an excuse because there isn’t one. It just may be a reason for it.

As for after I got home from work, it’s true the bad weather is still here. But I don’t think that’s the reason for me not working on my NaNoWriMo novels at all today so far. It’s because I’m tired. And I don’t understand why that happened. I got plenty of sleep last night. So, why did it happen? That I don’t know. All that I do know is that when I got home, I fell to sleep almost the second I got there. the only reason why I got up to write this Blog entry is because of an old watch that goes off about ten minutes until two o’clock my time. Don’t know why it does that. But it has for as long as I can remember.

My Blog entry will be a little late tomorrow by an hour or two because I’m not only going in an hour-and-a-half later than usual to work, but I’m working four hours OT. So, I’m not going to be getting home from work until about an hour after I normally post these Blog entries. The good news with working OT is that I should be able to get more of my writing done. At least I will if it’s not like yesterday. Unfortunately, I’m not going to have any time to work on my novels tomorrow either.
