Another Thirty-five Scene Paragraphs Yesterday
Another Thirty-five Scene Paragraphs Yesterday

Friday at work I did thirty-five scene paragraphs. That included five Establishing Shots. I did the same thing yesterday. But I only did them in eight hours instead of twelve. So, yesterday was more of a great day than Friday was. Of course, yesterday was a Saturday. But it wasn’t just a Saturday. It was a typical Saturday at work. In fact, it was probably less than typical because Thursday was the fourth.

At first, I wasn’t sure how many I would get done. I was worried I was only going to do about twenty if I was lucky. Only this time it wasn’t because of the lack of concentration. It was because of how I was feeling. I was feeling very depressed yesterday because of what happened in the last couple of hours of work on Friday and Saturday morning. The last two hours were very busy. So busy that I was on my feet ninety-nine percent of the time. And I’m not supposed to be on them that long.

I also only got about six hours of sleep last night because of the OT. That’s another reason why I’m surprised that I did as many scene paragraphs as I did yesterday. And I barely got them done. I only had about twenty minutes left in my shift. Once I started writing, I couldn’t stop myself. True, I had to do a lot of erasing. But it still flowed out of my fingers onto the paper. Neither my depression nor my lack of sleep stopped me from writing yesterday.

When I got home from work, I was going to work on my NaNoWriMo novels for this year. Especially, since I couldn’t get to work on them for the last couple of days because of work. Even brought them up on my laptop and looked at them both. but I didn’t work on either one. Why didn’t I? it’s because I’m thinking about changing them both slightly to make them more dramatic. More like a Medical Drama and a Crime Drama.

I’m going to have to think about that tonight before I go to sleep plus on my way to and from work. Today at work is devoted to continuing to work on the movie Treatment for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. I don’t know if I can keep up doing so many scene paragraphs. But I hope that I do. Should be able to do at least ten to twenty. And I’m hoping that it’s twenty-five to thirty or more. Only time will tell on that.
