The Mirror
Silver-cladded glass is alert.
Beige lightswitch flops alive.
Foggy image dons a shirt
now wrinkled on one side.

Tousled hair and crusty drool
assail the slotted eyes.
The rolls of ham, a basted mule,
elicit tragic cries.

Melting features, glistening bright.
Goliath face of spikes
slams cruelest taunts on David's light
as soapy blades full strike.
