Compromising Doesn’t Help Either
Compromising Doesn’t Help Either

While trying to get to sleep last night I thought of something else I might try to solve my repetition problem. But I didn’t really want to do it. I thought that I may be able to save my Water Wars project from being shelved for a little bit. Only it meant compromising it even more than I already have. And I didn’t want to do that. But I’m getting desperate. I’m willing to try anything if it works. So, I tried it. Unfortunately, it didn’t work either.

I spent all day at work yesterday trying to compromise my Water Wars spreadsheet. And I had plenty of time to do it since it was a typical Saturday. It was almost completely dead there. Oh, I did have some work to do. But it didn’t distract me from my writing. The only one who did that was me. I tried several different ways to save this project. But none of them work. It was the same thing. Sometimes it was just one repetition, but usually, it was a lot more than that.

I’m going to try one more thing at work today. Something else I really don’t want to do. But if it solves my problem then I will do it. It isn’t compromising. It’s worse than that. Something that I tried at the beginning. And decided it was better to do it another way. But since that isn’t working out either I might as well go back to the beginning and give it another try. Who knows? With all this problem solving I have been doing for centuries it may help me solve my repetition problem.

What am I writing about? I know it’s read like it’s confusing. But it isn’t. When I started, I was using one or two main characters to start and end each act. Usually, the one who started it also ended it too. But I also have done it the other way around too. Lately, I have been trying to do it with two or three main characters. The beginning and endings have been the same. I just double the numbers because I thought that would help since they will be in the movie and episodes the most.

If I don’t figure it out today at work or after I get home from work, I probably will have no choice but to shelf this project right now. Maybe some time away from it will help me to solve it in a few weeks or month. Who knows? My Treasure Finders might even help me with it. I know that I have written this in the past. And that I don’t want to give up on it. But it’s looking like I may not have any choice but to do it for now.
