Seven of the Twelve are Establishing Shots
Seven of the Twelve are Establishing Shots

I have some very bad news that I’m going to be writing about in my blog today. No, I’m not starting my Water Wars project over again. I wish that is what I’m writing about. It’s something that I can deal with. What I’m having trouble dealing with is what happened at work yesterday.

I only got twelve scene paragraphs written yesterday at work for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. And seven of them were Establishing Shots. Why so little written yesterday? What is the usual reason I don’t more written than I should have gotten done? It’s work. And this time it is work that is my reason.

It started after about two hours into my shift. Something happened that got me to thinking about if I’m going to be working there past this weekend. I know that I’m probably only being paranoid about it. But that didn’t stop me from thinking about it the rest of my shift. As a result, I only got twelve scene paragraphs written.

It wasn’t a lack of concentration this time. At least I don’t think that it was. I know what I wanted to write. Maybe not the exact words. But a very good idea what words I was going to be using. And the order that I would be using them. Especially, when it comes to the five main paragraphs. But constantly thinking about what happened did slow me down a lot.

Work itself wasn’t a problem. It wasn’t very busy at all yesterday at work. In fact, it was probably the slowest it has been since I started working there for a Saturday. So, I can’t use that as a reason for my lack of writing more. But I can and will use what happened. And that is work-related.

If I am taken off this post, two things better happen. One is that I’m given another one right away that is as good as this one used to be or better. And the second one is that there had better be a lot of others at that post that are gone too. The first one might happen. But I doubt the second one will. Even though nothing will happen, I will file a complaint with the company that I work for. If that gets me fired completely, then I will sue them too. I’m in the process of doing that right now. and I won’t hesitate to do it again if I need to do it.

What am I going to do at work today? I’m going to continue working on my Water Wars scriptwriting project. I just don’t know how much of it I’m going to get done. A lot depends on what happens at work today when it comes to what happened yesterday, and when it happens.
