Death and Life

Death and Life are with us now.
The line, though thin, is sensed somehow.
Ghosts and goblins of this day
are actors with a scare display.

"I call on Heaven and Earth this day.
Record the deeds against your play.
I've set before you life and death,
of blessing, cursing, (fleeting breath.)"

"I urge you now to choose you life,
that you and your seed be free from strife."
The word of God is firm and terse.
It gives us hope in every verse.

For some receive the Truth made known,
though others reject, from hope are flown.
We live within His living wings.
His daily Glory voices sing.

"I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, [that] I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:" (Deuteronomy 30:19, KJV)

"1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust." (Psalm 91:1-2, KJV)
