This shortest day, this day of instability, of the farthest extent of our wobbling journey, this winter solstice. What Napoleon complex infects the nature of our condition? What compensation will there be for this extreme? Wisps of sunlight are dispersed and filtered through a greater density of atmosphere casting ghostly shadows across waves of snowdrifts.
