Main protagonist is an animal
I watched the man silently from my vantage point; he had a woman slung over his shoulder. Her body was limp and unmoving; she was either unconscious or dead. He grunted as he flicked her off his shoulder and onto a metal table. When her head made contact with the metal, it created a loud thudding noise, which then echoed off the grimy walls in the room. The concrete floor was littered with debris and a puddle in the far corner. I shifted my position, deciding to climb down to a lower spot. The man turned to watch me as I settled onto the desk below where I had been. He mumbled to himself and turned away from me, ignoring me, he reached out and ran a hand across the woman’s cheek.
