Stumbling across a dark secret in the woods
The moon shone brightly in the sky, casting strange shadows on the ground as the bare branches swayed in the wind high above. Leaves crunched underfoot and the sound of insects and small animals skittering through the underbrush could be heard. Torchlight wasn’t necessary unless you wanted to see into an animal burrow.
