Grace & Mercy
The goodness I do not deserve
is from the Lord, Who gave His life for me.
The daily ways, that I can for Him serve
bring peace into my heart to free.

"For I know the thoughts I think toward you,"
thus saith the living Lord.
"I've thoughts of peace to see you through,
and not of ill by the living Word.
An expected end will never be deferred."
(Jeremiah 29:11)

Preparation leads to sowing,
then the waiting leads to grace.
Harvest of the grain, that's growing,
shows the Father's blessing place.

"Lord, I need your sabbath rest.
Help me enter your Day of Peace.
In your arms, I'm fully blest,
and Hope will come with your release."

Wisdom comes from peace within.
Father keeps a hopeful heart.
Waiting on Him protects from sin,
and Joy will give a bless-ed start.
