Another Great Yesterday for My Water Wars Movie Treatment

Yesterday was very good for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. At least I think that it was. True, I only got fifteen paragraphs written yesterday. But not only did I do them on a very busy day at work, but I also did four to six liners long.

Like I just wrote, it was very busy at work yesterday at work. It wasn’t as bad as the Wednesday post that I used to have. But it was very close to that bad. Especially, the last couple of hours of my shift. Up until then, it wasn’t too bad. But then it started getting more like my old Wednesday post.

It wasn’t just how bad it was at work that I didn’t get more writing written yesterday. In fact, I could have done about five more paragraphs. After all, I had about an hour and a half left on my shift. But I decided not to do that. Mostly because they would have probably been all Establishing Shots. Maybe one or two paragraphs beyond that. That isn’t why I decided not to continue writing. It was because the fifteen ended my Teaser Act One.

If I would have continued it, it would have been with Act One. And I didn’t want to start it only to stop it like that. I know that I’m not going to be able to do it on an Act-by-Act basis. But if I can get ten to fifteen paragraphs written a day that it’s a good day. Especially, if they aren’t Establishing Shots.

I was going to start transferring my Water Wars Outlines from my handwriting to my laptop. But I didn’t do it for a couple of reasons. 0ne of those reasons is that I didn’t get the chance to try my dictation idea yesterday. And I really want to try that before I start doing it the hard way.

The second one is the main reason why I didn’t do it. I didn’t feel like doing it. That’s because I think that I’m coming down with a cold. At least I feel like I am. I am even having trouble doing this blog entry. But I don’t want to miss a blogging entry.

Today I’m going to continue working on my movie Treatment for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. I don’t know how many paragraphs I’m going to be able to get done. but I’m hoping that I can do another fifteen paragraphs. Twenty or twenty-five would be better considering there are going to be about five to ten Establishing Shots.

A lot also depends on how busy it gets at work today as to how much writing I get done. If it’s like yesterday, then I may be lucky if I get ten to fifteen. And that includes any Establishing Shots that I might write. Of course, I did that many paragraphs yesterday. So, there isn’t any reason why I can’t do it again today too.
