lOVE COMES BEFORE MONEY IN THE DICTIONARY
Everyone has a story to tell, so... What did you do with the money?

Manx Cat from Japan

Money

aha! This is where I should get off but, I won't. I was a widow. I did inherit some cash. Over the years, relatives worried more about the money and where it went than I did. I bought a farm, built a house, (which had a mortgage), and raised 4 children. I did invest some of the money but, during the Reagan years the investment was not making money. We were having trouble paying the mortgage, I used the investment to pay off the mortgage. Unfortunately, the same people that don't know an A-frame house from a pyramid have circulated a story that I am extremely wealthy. It's as if they owned my fortune and they can't find it.

I went to college in hopes I would get a decent job and retire with a better social security and hoped to build some equity for children when I die, but, the job market was poor as it continues to be around here. I refused to sell my farm and move which, seemed to be the object. I felt pushed so I stayed.Any way where would I go. Any, deeper answers should be given face to face to those, who dare to ask. After all what town wants horses or sheep in someones back yard.

One pony, 2 parrots, 3 cats, 2 of them dumped, and one dog left. I want another dog but have not found one I can afford yet.

This weekend after an ice storm I stepped out to do the barn work one morning. the birds were not quite up yet. The sky was gray but light. The woods, fields and all the surrounding trees were coated in ice and white, crunchy, frozen snow. It felt warm out. And, it was silent. Not a thing was moving. I could feel a kind of silent music in the atmosphere. A perfect beauty was all around me in the silence. I took a walk, savoring the beauty.

Now, I live as I have always lived. When the money comes in I pay it out. Sometimes, I wonder what will happen to me as I age but, guess I'll live to find out.

THE END
