Tanaga: "When the Writing is Thin"
When the mind is stretching thin,
hope is there, but will it win?
Words may come through sheepish grin.
"Dear Lord, is this for some sin?"

This modern life always goes.
Peace is learned when God it knows.
Daily curve the Foe, he throws.
Focus on the One, who chose.

Words I write while fishing deep.
"Pray The Lord, my soul to keep."
In Thy care some goal to reap.
Please, lead me on or I weep.

The letters swim, coalesce,
help the soul in greatest stress
love the mind, that sees a mess.
Some day soon the sun will bless.

What to do, Oh what to do.
Tired mind, body, through and through.
Will some day bring peace so new?
Day of joy with cup to brew.

Recycled words, daily fare.
Bring me rest for hurtful care.
"Take a breath, a moment's stare.
Listen soft. The Lord is there."

Spread the words so light on bread.
He's thine everlasting Head.
Sin He bought in thine own stead.
Meal He'll share with one He wed.

Days of thinness when I write,
needed rest will make it right.
Hope will come so full and bright.
Small was all your perceived plight.
