It is Sort of Like Friday

Unfortunately, I didn’t get as many paragraphs written at work yesterday as I was hoping to get written for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. I only got fifteen of them done. and I was hoping to get at least twenty of them so that I could end Act Six. as a result, I missed it by five.

Fifteen paragraphs are still very good. At least they would be during the week. But on the weekend, it’s not as good. Of course, none of the fifteen were Establishing Shots. And I did have to re-write several paragraphs from the beginning. So, it was sort of like I did about eighteen of them instead of only fifteen. But overall, it was still fifteen no matter how you look at it.

What is the usual reason why I don’t get as much writing done as I would have like to have written? That’s right. It’s work. Unfortunately, I can’t blame work this time. that’s because it was a typical Saturday at work yesterday. In fact, it may have been a little bit less than normal yesterday. That’s because it wasn’t very busy at all. It was one of the slowest days that I had on a Saturday since I started working at this post almost a year and a half ago. If it’s not the slowest one so far.

Well, that isn’t exactly true when it comes to work not being to blame. After all, the sun did try to blind me for the first half of my shift. And yesterday that did slow me down a little bit. It wasn’t that big of a slowdown. But there was one.

I’m hoping that today I will be able to get another eighteen paragraphs written for my Water Wars movie Treatment. If I can do that will include probably three Establishing Shots. Two at the beginning. And one at either the third scene or the seventh one.

A lot of how much writing I get done today depends on how busy at work it gets. If it’s a normal Sunday, then I shouldn’t have too much problem getting eighteen of them written today. but if it isn’t a typical Sunday, then I may be lucky to get ten to fifteen of them. And that includes at least two Establishing Shots. It could be three ESs.
