What Does Yesterday and Today Have in Common?

The answer to this blog entry title question is a lack of concentration. Unfortunately, that’s what they have in common. I didn’t get too much written at work yesterday on my Water Wars scriptwriting project or today on my second scriptwriting project, The Problems with Death. It was mostly my Water Wars project. but my Death Problems wasn’t that much better.

I barely got five paragraphs written yesterday at work. That is almost as bad as my Wednesdays used to be. Not quite as bad, but very close to it. I haven’t done too much better with my second project today either. Unfortunately, I only got seven paragraphs written on it. Why didn’t I get more written in the last couple of days? The answer is the same for them both: my lack of concentration. I didn’t have it.

Why didn’t I have it? That I don’t know. But I have been thinking about it ever since it happened or in this case when it didn’t happen. What is the usual reason why I don’t get more written at work? Lately, it’s been the sun. But it’s mostly because of how busy it was at work. I can’t believe either one of them because there was no sun again yesterday and it was an average Sunday at work.

In a way, it may have been the weather, though. But it wasn’t the weather completely. Most of the blame for not writing more is still me. The only reason why I blame the weather a tad is that when it’s gloomy it makes me feel the same way too. That’s how I felt the last couple of days.

The weather isn’t the only other reason either. I was also what I watched on my cell phone yesterday at work. It may have big a big mistake to watch three movies and one tv show yesterday. But after I Bookmarked several of them, I told myself that I was going to watch them. that stuck in my head. So, I had no choice but to watch them.

Will I do any more writing after I post this blog entry? I plan on getting some more written on my second project. After all, I need to get it done. And the sooner I do that the better. But will I do it? The answer to that question is, not I probably won’t. I still don’t feel like doing it.

Another reason why I don’t get too much writing done on my first day off from work is because of what my brother and I need to do that day. We didn’t have a lot to do today. but what we needed to do took up most of the day. As a result, I only got seven paragraphs written today. unfortunately, tomorrow it looks like it’s going to be the same thing. Only I hope that I have more time to work on my writing. And the willingness to do it.
