Worst Saturday Ever

I’m not exaggerating when I write that yesterday was the worse Saturday that I have ever had when it comes to my writing. In fact, it was so worst that it made my old Wednesdays at that other post look good. The only days that were worse than yesterday are the ones that I don’t get any writing done at all. Unfortunately, I have had a lot of them that weren’t on an old Wednesday.

It was so bad that I barely got eight paragraphs written at work yesterday. That only averages one per hour. Now, that reads badly. And it is. The only thing worse than the number of paragraphs that I wrote is that I don’t know why I didn’t get more written.

I should have gotten a lot more written. At least a couple more to make it an even ten. And I may have been able to do that with only about a half-hour to spare until the official end of my shift. But they would have the two Establishing Shots for Episode One of my Water Wars television series. So, I decided to stop at eight.

Work itself wasn’t the reason why I didn’t get more writing done. After all, it was a very typical Saturday. It was very, very slow at work yesterday. One of the slowest ones that I have seen in an extremely long time. If it isn’t the slowest one. That’s how slow it was.

True, the sun trying to blind me for about five and a half hours into my shift did slow me down a little bit. But I don’t think that is the reason why either. I still don’t know why I didn’t get any more written. And I have been trying to come up with a reason ever since I got off work and went home. Maybe it’s going to be one of those times that I will never know the reason why?

The only good thing about only getting eight paragraphs written is that it ended my movie Treatment. Now, I can start at the beginning wit my first episode for this series. Which I’m going to start work on today at work. I’m not sure how many paragraphs I will get written. But I’m hoping to do between twelve and eighteen. Including about two or three Establishing Shots.
