Despite the Sun and Work

It was supposed to be completely cloudy yesterday afternoon. But it wasn’t. In fact, it was almost just the opposite. The sun was mostly out. There was some cloud coverage at work yesterday. But it wasn’t that cloudy most of the time. it was mostly sunny. That didn’t affect my writing, though. usually, it does slow me down with my writing. But that isn’t true about yesterday.

Work was very busy too. Not very busy. But it was busy. It was very, very busy during the first half of my shift than it usually is. True, it wasn’t that much busier than most Thursdays. But it was a little bit busier. The second half of my shift wasn’t as busy as it has been for a Thursday. It was a lot like the first half, though. Work was a little bit busier than it usually is.

That also didn’t slow me down too much when it comes to my writing. It did slow me down a little, though. I had to leave my post slightly more often than I normally do on a Thursday. But it wasn’t that much more. After all, I still got fifteen paragraphs written yesterday at work. And none of them were Establishing Shots. I was hoping to do at least ten paragraphs. But I wanted to do about fifteen. Which I did do.

Unfortunately, fifteen paragraphs were all that I could do. And I barely got them done before the end of my shift. If I can do that many today, then I will end Act One of Episode One of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. Of course, I have a very good chance of getting a few more done. I may even be able to do a lot more if it’s like the last few Fridays have been like. I’m not going to count on that until that happens, though.
