A Very, Very Good Thursday at Work
A Very, Very Good Thursday At Work

I did fifteen paragraphs yesterday at work for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. That includes two Establishing Shots and thirteen scene paragraphs. Maybe that doesn’t read like too many paragraphs to most writers. But I’m not like most writers. Besides, I think that fifteen paragraphs are a very good day. Especially, since they were done on a Thursday and at work.

The sun trying to blind me during most of my shift isn’t a problem anymore since I started closing the blinds like everyone else. But work was a little bit of a slow down when it comes to the first episode of my Water Wars treatment. It was very busy at work yesterday. Not as busy as it has been lately on a Thursday. But it was still very busy.

I’m kind of surprised that I got fifteen of them down, though. After all, I wasn’t feeling very good yesterday. No, I don’t have the Coronavirus. In fact, I don’t even think that I have a cold right now. This time my lack of feeling had to do with the upper part of my left leg. It has been hurting me for about twenty-four hours.

I should have taken an Aleve before I went to work yesterday. But I forgot to do it. So, I had to suffer all through my shift. You would think that would slow me down at least a little bit if not a lot. But it didn’t. And don’t ask me why because I don’t know. All that I know is that once I started my writing I couldn’t stop.

Of course, I did stop for work. But even that didn’t slow me down that much. Especially, since I didn’t have to go out of my guard shack too often. I did a few times. But not that many times. Most of the time I could do my shift within the guard shack. And yesterday was one of those times.

I’ve got seventeen scene paragraphs left to finish episode one of my Water Wars scriptwriting treatment. Will I get that many written? I hope that I do. But if it’s anything like the last couple of Fridays, I probably won’t get that many done. I may be lucky to get ten written. Of course, if it’s like a Friday a few weeks ago, then I may not have too many problems getting them written.

It also depends on how busy it is at work. If it’s like it was yesterday, then I should get at least the last seventeen that I need to finish my episode one Treatment for this project. I hope that is what is going to happen. But I won’t know that for sure until the next time I do this blog entry.
