Eighteen Paragraphs

The first five scene paragraphs let me finish the first episode of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. And that only took me a couple of hours to do too. So, that means I had six more hours of my shift at work yesterday to do the other thirteen. Which included three Establishing Shots.

If it was during the week, I would probably be lucky if I got ten to thirteen of them done. But since it was a Saturday, I got eighteen of them written. That may not read like much to some writers. I think that is very good. Especially, considering what I have accomplished the last few Saturdays.

It’s true, it was a very, very slow Saturday yesterday at work aka a normal Saturday. So, that helped me a lot when it comes to getting so much writing written. But that isn’t the only thing that did it. Don’t ask me how I did it because I don’t know, but as soon as I started writing I couldn’t stop myself from doing it. Even if I wanted to do that. Which I didn’t. Once I started writing, I didn’t stop until I finished those eighteen paragraphs.

Of course, I did have to stop a little bit because of work. But even that didn’t slow me down that much. I just hope that I can do the same thing today. I’ve only got ten more scene paragraphs to do to finish the Tag Act for my second episode Treatment. So, I should be able to get that much done today. But I’m hoping for at least five more of them plus the two or three Establishing shots for Act One. I would like to get ten more written for a total of twenty-two or twenty-three. I’ll probably be lucky if I can get another seventeen or eighteen written.
