It’s Almost My Birthday

Why am I writing a blog about my birthing coming up in a couple of days? It’s because it’s my reason for not getting any writing written on my second scriptwriting project, The Problems with Death, so far. Since I will be working on my birthday, my brother and I are celebrating it today.

Well, that isn’t exactly true. I don’t really celebrate my birthday today. Because I don’t really do that anymore. I haven’t done that in decades. Not because I’m ashamed of my age. Which is almost sixty. No, it’s because there is no reason to do it. I’m not getting any presents, a cake with or without ice cream, or a party. It’s just my brother and me. And me celebrating it by going out to dinner.

Of course, we can’t go out to do something like that because of the Coronavirus. But we can get it to go, though. Which is what we are going to do. We have just spent most of this afternoon deciding where I want to go. And it took me all that time to make that decision.

There were several possibilities. Including a new sandwich and Rib place that we just found out about. For a long time, I was really considering going there. But it isn’t too close to where we live. So, I decided to someplace closer. We go there as often as we can. It’s one of our favorite places to go. In fact, it’s one of those places we like to go to about once a month.

That’s why I haven’t gotten any writing done on my second project so far today. That doesn’t mean that I’m not going to continue to work on it after I get finished writing this blog entry and posting it. I do plan on doing just that. As for if I will do it or not, I can’t write about right now. that’s because I don know if I will or not. I want to do it. and I plan on doing it. But when it comes time to continue with this project I may not be able to do any more writing on it for one reason or another that I can’t think of right now.
