Worse Than Wednesday

It was extremely busy yesterday at work. In fact, it was so busy that it was almost as bad and the Wednesday post was, I used to work. I wasn’t on my feet almost constantly like I was at that post. But I was on them about twice as much as I usually am for a Thursday.

Yesterday was one of the worst Thursdays that I have seen so far. At least I think that it is. I can’t remember another one that has been this busy. It was so busy that I didn’t get as much writing done as I wanted to get done. That’s how busy it was yesterday at work.

I only got ten scene paragraphs written yesterday at work on my Water Wars scriptwriting project. True, I wanted to do at least fifteen so that I could end Act One. But that didn’t happen. I only got ten written. That means that I still have five more before I can finish this Act.

It wasn’t all of works fault, though. a big part about me not getting more work written is because of me. Work had a lot to do with it. The gloomy and rainy weather did too. But I’m still the main one to blame. I had quite a bit of trouble concentrating.

The gloom and rain did slow me down a little bit when it comes to my writing. And work did too. But I still had to force myself to do those ten scene paragraphs because of my lack of concentration. Unfortunately, it took me almost my whole shift to do them too.

That’s how bad it was for the second episode Treatment for my Water Wars project. I just hope that today isn’t going to be as bad or worse than it was yesterday. If it’s as bad as it was today, or worse, then I may not get too much writing done today either.

Then again, if it’s not too bad at work, then I may be able to get at least twelve or thirteen paragraphs written today. That includes five scene paragraphs to end Act One and begin Act two plus two or three Establishing Shots. But I’m hoping that I can get seventeen or eighteen written instead.

I may have a chance to write that many paragraphs too. After all, today is Friday. True, I don’t think that I did very well last Friday. But the two or three weeks before that I think that I did. I just hope that I can match those weeks again. If I can’t do even better than that.
